The Alpine Club Headquarters
In 1991 the Club secured its future by acquiring the freehold of a five-storey Victorian warehouse in Charlotte Road, on the edge of the City of London, just outside the London Congestion Charge Zone. For a more detailed street map click here.
Three storeys have been converted into a lecture hall, real ale bar, library, office, bunkhouse and archives. The remaining floors are available to meet the future needs of the Club.

GETTING THERE
Nearest Tube: From Old Street Tube station: 10 minutes walk. When you come out of the station follow the signs for EXIT 3; once outside (up a ramp) carry straight on (Old Street) to a big road junction (with Great Eastern Road) and a pedestrian crossing. Cross over then take the smaller road to the left of Rivington House (the road has no name sign, it is Rivington Street) until it crosses Charlotte Road - turn right and the Alpine Club is on your left.
London Buses: Daytime buses run until about 0030. Night buses run from about 0030. The following bus stops are close to the club (see map): Ravey Street (2 minute walk), Curtain Road (5 minute walk), Coronet Street (5 minute walk), Shoreditch Town Hall Old Street (5 minute walk). By Car: Metered Parking is available in many of the streets close to the Alpine Club. Charlotte Road only allows permit holders to park. This applies 24hrs a day; you may even get a parking ticket after 9pm!
