The Young Explorers' Trust - The Association of Youth Exploration Societies

Royal Geographical Society -

Mount Everest Foundation - the Mount Everest Foundation encourages and supports with grants the exploration of the mountain regions of the world.

Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme (UIAA) - Organisation that represents several million mountaineers and climbers, world-wide, on international issues. Formed in 1932 it now has over 88 members associations from some 76 countries, all of national importance. It is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the International Federation representing mountaineering and climbing.

The Mountaineering Council of Scotland - The representative body for climbers, walkers, mountaineers and cross-country skiers who enjoy the Scottish mountains.

Mountaineering Council of Ireland - The National Governing Body for Mountaineering representing ramblers, hillwalkers, rock climbers and alpinists.

British Mountaineering Council - The British Mountaineering Council is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hillwalkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers.

British Mountain Guides - BMG members hold the highest internationally recognised qualification for instruction and guiding in rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and off-piste skiing and ski touring- the coveted IFMGA carnet.

The Alpine Convention - European conferences, workshops and Alpine Events.
