Eastern Huayhuash 2007 Expedition
LOCATION: Eastern Huayhuash, Peru
DATES: 20 July - 2 sept 2007
TEAM: Carl Reilly (leader) and Graeme Schofield joined by a number of friends.
This trip had as its primary objective the unclimbed West Face of Jirishanka Chico (5467m). Unfortunately conditions were too dangerous for this Face so the augmented team completed three new routes; the East Ridge of Quisillo, the North Ridge of Huaraca and the Northeast Face of Huaraca. They also completed the East Ridge of Point 5325 on the Nevado Ulta Ridge, which they believe to be a new route.
