Based at a semi-permanent camp on the North Inylchek Glacier, which is reached by helicopter.
From this point there are numerous easy -
difficult routes on the many 6000m+ peaks on the
west side of the glacier which can be
climbed/explored, before having a go at Khan
Tengri (7010m) to the east. This approach is the safest
way up the mountain, which has to be one of the most beautiful anywhere.
