Alpine Club Publications

The Alpine Journal is a 400-page annual record of mountaineering and the mountain experience which has been published continuously since 1859 and is issued free to members.

The AC publishes the most comprehensive English Guidebooks covering the most popular regions of the Alps. Included here are updates for each guide.

In addition the AC Library maintains on computer the Himalayan Index, a comprehensive record of expeditions to Asian peaks over 6000m, which is available for reference purposes.
Books for Sale
The Alpine Club Library regularly sells a wide range of second hand books, journals, guidebooks, etc which are superfluous to requirements. For details, contact Mike Hewson.
Book donations are always welcome and can be used in aid of club funds.
