The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

With membership, experienced and aspiring alpinists benefit from a varied meets programme, regional lectures with notable guest speakers, reduced rates at many alpine huts, opportunity to apply for grants to support expeditions, significant discounts at many UK retailers, extensive networking contacts, access to the AC Library and maps - and more!

This year's club Christmas cards feature a charming watercolour painting of Everest by Howard Somervell, reproduced with the kind permission of the Somervell family.

As with our previous Christmas cards, this year's card does not carry a date and features a simple seasonal greeting.

The cards come in packs of 10 at a cost of £7.00 per pack. (Postage and packaging is £2 for one or two packs and £3 for three packs).

You can purchase the cards here.

Also available are a selection of cards from previous years. These are offered at the reduced price of £5 per pack, with the same postage and packaging rates as the new cards.
