The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

Bunk Room

The Club provides comfortable bunkroom accommodation in central London. Members can stay in our bunkroom when travelllng on behalf of the Club or on mountaineering business for free.

Four bunk beds are waiting to be used by members. Please bring a sleeping bag and towel.

Please arrange your booking with the Office Manager at the AC. Key collection can be arranged during office hours.

Lecture Theatre Rental

Are you looking for a room to hire in London?

We rent out our Lecture Theatre to external organisations. It can accommodate 60 persons, chairs and bar tables are provided and it is has some disabled access.

The room is ideally used for presentations, lectures or social gatherings.

The price for daytime hire is £250 excl VAT.
