The conditions are no longer updated on the funalps site. Instead they are available in English under the News section of the main Alpine Club site:
as well as on the chamoniarde site. What happens is that when the Office de Haute Montagne post the latest update on the Chamoniarde site, (in French,) they send me a text. I do a quick translation, post this on the Alpine Club site and send a copy to the OHM. They then post this on their site, usually the following morning. The Chamoniarde site, run by the Office Haute Montagne, is dedicated to accident prevention. The conditions are changing day by day in the high mountain, so please treat the information with caution. It is recommended to consult earlier reports to understand how the conditions are evolving. This same conditions report is now available on the Chamonix Tourist Office app. (Chamonix Lumiplan).
Another excellent resource is the newly re-vamped Camptocamp site (V6 since 6th Dec 2016). https://www.camptocamp.org To avoid information overload, login, (free) choose the language interface, then under preferences select your activities and choose the areas of interest. For Chamonix, I would recommend, Mont Blanc, Aravis, Aiguilles Rouges, Aosta Valley and Valais W.
The MountaiNow app is also now available since December 2016
